I just finished this book and had to share my thoughts! I’ve been meaning to read Chelsea Curto’s other books, especially her hockey romances, but haven’t gotten to them yet, so this was my first book by her, but won’t be my last!
In Stormy Weather had the perfect mix of fast-paced action and romance, and I couldn’t put it down. I’m a huge fan of the movie Twister and have fond memories of watching extreme weather shows with my grandpa when I was growing up, so I was SUPER excited to get approved for this book on Netgalley because of the meteorology storyline alone. I haven’t seen any other romance books with that premise, and I’m always a huge fan of an all-encompassing storyline where you learn a lot about a niche topic like meteorology.
I’m also a huge fan of a second-chance romance, so I loved seeing how Quinn got past her hatred for Sebastian. I can’t quite call this enemies-to-lovers, although that’s what the premise made me believe it was going to be. I really liked the friend group and wouldn’t be surprised if we get a spinoff book with Mia, but I also want to see some more storm chaser romances! I loved this book and will definitely be and reading it again.
